लाेकपाटी न्यूजकाठमाडौं। प्रहरी महानिरीक्षक सर्वेन्द्र खनाल चिलीको सान्टियागोमा २०७६ असोज २८ देखि कात्तिक १ गते (१५ देखि १८ अक्टोबर, २०१९) सम्म सञ्चालन हुने इन्टरपोलको ८८औं महासभामा सहभागी हुन आइतबार राति त्यसतर्फ प्रस्थान गरेका छन्।
NCB नेपालका प्रमूख समेत रहेका प्रहरी महानिरीक्षक खनालसँग उक्त महासभामा सहभागी हुन प्रहरी प्रधान कार्यालय केन्द्रीय अनुसन्धान ब्यूरोका प्रमूख प्रहरी नायव महानिरीक्षक निरज बहादुर शाही र प्रहरी प्रधान कार्यालय ईन्टरपोल शाखाका प्रमूख प्रहरी वरिष्ठ उपरीक्षक उमेशराज जोशीसमेत त्यसतर्फ प्रस्थान गरेका छन्।
प्रहरी महानिरीक्षक खनालको नेतृत्वमा रहेको टोलीलाई प्रहरी अतिरिक्त महानिरीक्षक, प्रहरी नायव महानिरीक्षक लगायत वरिष्ठ प्रहरी अधिकृतहरूले त्रिभुवन अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलमा शुभकामनासहित विदाई गरे।
१९४ इन्टरपोल सदस्य राष्ट्रका Head of NCB हरु सहभागी हुने महासभामा निम्न उल्लेखित लगायतका विषयहरूमा छलफल तथा निर्णय हुने कार्यक्रम रहेको छ:
- General Review of INTERPOL’s Rules on the Processing of DATA (RPD) and Proposals for Amendment,
- Composition of the Executive Committee,
- Amendment of the Sanctions Provided for under article 52 of the General Regulations,
- Draft cooperation agreement between the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC),
- Annual Report on the lists of existing and new cooperation agreements with international and private entities involving Data Processing,
- Annual Financial Report and Financial Statements for 2018,
- Reports of the external auditors on the 2018 accounts,
- Strengthening INTERPOL’s cooperation with the EUROPEAN UNION,
- Project Gateway Developing Partnerships with the Private Sector to Combat Cybercrime,
- Appointment of the Secretary General,
- Creation of a Standing Committee on the processing of Data,
- Working group to review Legal Provisions relating to INTERPOL’s Governance Bodies: Progress Report,
- Application for membership by the Republic of KOSOVO,
- I-CORE: INTERPOL Policing Capabilities Transformation Roadmap,
- Draft Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between INTEPOL and North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers EUROPE (SHAPE),
- Draft cooperation Agreement between the Inter-Regional Coordination Center for the Implementation of the Regional Strategy for Maritime Safety and Security in Central and West Africa and the International Criminal Police Organization – INTERPOL,
- Activity report of the commission for the control of INTERPOL’s Files for 2018,
- Programme of activities and draft budget for 2020,
- Establishment of a Middle East and North Africa Regional Bureau in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia- Draft Host Country Agreement.
प्रहरी महानिरीक्षक सर्वेन्द्र खनालको अनुपस्थितिमा प्रहरी अतिरिक्त महानिरीक्षक पुष्कर कार्कीले प्रहरी प्रधान कार्यालयको दैनिक प्रशासनिक कामकाजको जिम्मेवारी सम्हाल्नेछन् ।
